Landscape Photography | 5 Locations in ONE Day | Lake District | UK
The Lake District in the United Kingdom is a stunning location to take images. On this day, I attempted to get to 5 Locations that are iconic in the Lakes. Conditions were challenging to say the least but isn't that always the case when taking photographs ?
In the description I have included broad information as to where I took the shots .
Peace x

Landscape Photography | Inspiration & Insomnia
Переглядів 4,2 тис.3 роки тому
For many years we have always watched you tube. It's part of life. Back in 2016/2017 I was lucky enough to be part of the early people who uploaded my Landscape Photography adventures onto the platform. Maybe I inspired others to follow that path, I don't know. However i do know that even to this day I get inspiration from the you tube space. Every day I watch and learn, from both photography a...
Landscape Photography | Why I Quit You Tube ( for a while)

Sometimes life gets in the way of things you love. Unfortunately this happens to us all. I love landscape photography and the quiet meditation that it affords me. I adore spending time out with my Nikon set up, out on my own in the middle of no where watching the country side in the great outdoors and sitting still with nature. Recently however I had more important things on my mind. my darling...
Landscape Photography | Difficult Seascapes

I think the best thing about taking photographs, other than the experience, is making an image when you think there is no way, one can be had. That can often be in difficult conditions, when it's raining and your kit gets wet. It can be when it's windy and your tripod isn't playing ball or in can be when. your hat falls off and you think ...... why am I here? Shooting at the coast will bring yo...

On a bleak and cold morning I ventured out to a a location I have wanted to shoot for a number of years. The conditions were perfect, with a hoar frost, fog and snow on the ground. In this video I discuss in detail , compositional ideas to help you not make the same mistakes I have in the past. I also touch on the role of artificial intelligence software in photography and my personal thoughts ...
A Week In The Life Of A Landscape Photographer | Peak District UK

Follow me on a weeks adventure of Landscape Photography. Three unique days with different conditions where we see sunshine, fog and snow. Photographs and helpful, friendly advice are abound in this rather long vlog. First location is an autumnal scene with pretty reflections, local to me. The second features rushing water and beautiful colours on a foggy day. Last but not least a snowy scene fr...
Landscape Photography | A Virtual Woodland Workshop

An a cold and windy afternoon I ventured out for a walk with the dogs, camera in hand. The stills camera stayed in the bag as conditions were terrible. However this gave me a great opportunity to discuss the elements that make woodland photography work whilst out in the Landscape. Emphasis on light and textures, rather than composition and settings is key. UA-cam :- ua-cam.com/video/UdsOmBX_dEM...
Landscape Photography | Ghosts Of The Past | Bolehill | Peak District
Переглядів 7 тис.4 роки тому
Landscape photography holds many pleasures for me at different levels. As well as being excellent meditation from the rigours of everyday life, it also gives me the opportunity to explore new locations and their history. Bolehill in the Peak District is an old disused quarry which provided the stone for the building of the Howden and Derwent dams. In the early 1900s it was a hive of activity wi...
Landscape Photography | Fog Dogs And A Bag | Yorkshire

Another wet and windy landscape photography expedition. Outdoor and countryside image taking can be challenging. However fog was forecast, with the Clear outside app and it was spot on. Photography with the Nikon D850 was not easy due to the rain and wind...

Sure miss seeing Paul out on photography adventures. Decided to re-watch this video today. Perhaps just as a bit of nostalgia. 🙂 I realize life gets in the way of having time to do UA-cam videos. I struggle to find time for photography without even having a UA-cam channel to deal with on top of it. Regardless of any algorithm, if you manage to get out again and post, there are still many of us subscribed that will tune in. PEACE

Wheal Owles was the setting for Poldark's mine known as Wheal Leisure in the TV series. The mine works you were photographing is known as the Crowns. Yes that spit of path leading out to that view point can make your heart pump faster especially when it is really windy. 😁

Hi Paul, had the chance to watch the video tot he end just now. I wanted to say, I think you are right to not worry about the UA-cam robot. For me the reason I occassionally go out with the camera is to get out and switch off them all tech (camera not counting) and relax and take in the landscape. The reason I really liked your channel back in 2016/17 was that you were a normal guy, going to locations a fat lad like me could actually get too. I do like the other youtubers that seem to live like Sir Shackleton armed with mountaineering geer and snow shoes, wild camping on top of Mount Everest. That is all good but I prefer the realistic stuff. Keep on going! :)
